1. Booking & Payment
For overnight Signature & Bespoke tours, 25% deposit secures your booking. The balance is due 4 weeks prior to the tour. Kelda Adventures reserves the right to cancel bookings if payment is not received.

For Flexible Adventures and single day Signature Tours, the full payment is due at the booking stage.
 
2. Cancellations

Flexible Adventures and single-day Signature Tours are booked for a specific date. In line with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, the standard 14-day cancellation right does not apply to these bookings. For multi-day tours, our own cancellation policy is set out below:

More than 30 days: refund minus deposit. 14–30 days: 50% refund. Less than 14 days: no refund.
Transfers may be offered subject to availability.
 
3. Changes
Routes, schedules, or accommodation may be adjusted where necessary due to weather, safety considerations, road conditions, or other factors outside our control.
 
4. Participant Responsibility

Participants confirm that they:

• Are fit and capable of completing the planned ride

• Will ride within their personal limits

• Will follow the guide’s instructions at all times

• Will comply with the UK Highway Code

​5. Equipment

Participants must use a roadworthy bicycle and wear a helmet at all times.

Where bicycles are arranged for the tour, they are provided by trusted third-party hire partners and remain the responsibility of those providers.  Clients are responsible for any loss or damage to hired equipment during use.

Participants are responsible for ensuring that any equipment used is suitable and for reporting any concerns before the ride begins.

 
6. Insurance
Participants are responsible for ensuring they have appropriate insurance cover, including personal accident and third-party liability where required.

 
7. Medical

Participants must disclose any relevant medical conditions prior to the ride and confirm that they are fit to participate.  Kelda Adventures reserves the right to decline participation where safety may be compromised.

 
8. Risk Acknowledgement

Cycling on public roads carries inherent risks, including but not limited to traffic, weather conditions, road surfaces, and mechanical issues.  By participating, riders acknowledge these risks and accept responsibility for their own safety while taking part.
 
9. Liability

Kelda Adventures will take all reasonable steps to ensure participant safety and deliver a well-planned experience.  However, participation is at the rider’s own risk. Kelda Adventures shall not be held liable for injury, loss, or damage except where caused by proven negligence.

​Accommodation and any additional services included within Kelda Adventures tours are provided by carefully selected third-party partners. While Kelda Adventures manages the planning and coordination of the overall experience, responsibility for the delivery of accommodation and related services remains with the respective providers.

 
10. Emergency
Participants consent to receive first aid or emergency treatment if required during the activity.

 
11. Media
Photographs and video may be taken during the tour and used for marketing purposes unless participants request otherwise in advance.
